Adult computer classes are held two days per week -Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  The classes consist of Basic computer skills (e.g. Introduction to computers, Keyboarding and Internet surfing) as well as Intermediate and Advanced course offerings in the areas of Microsoft Office (Word 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint 2007).

Senior Citizens meet three days per week for social, exercise, and Health Care discussions by a Health Care Professional.

Classes are Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The exercise class help senior citizens to develop motor skills and to promote good health habits.

Games

The Senior Citizens Program also provide social interaction: playing Cards, Dominoes, and Arts and Crafts.  Also, birthdays are celebrated every six months with a party.

Senior Participants are also provided Health Presentations by a Registered Nurse.

Chat 'n' Chew

The Chat 'n' Chew program tests your taste buds. This also allow seniors to fellowship with others every other month as we visit local and out-of-area restaurants.  Lunch is a "Dutch" treat and transportation to destinations outside the Demopolis area costs $5 per person.  Please see schedule (available at the Activity Center) for future trips.
