Rental Fees for the Theo Ratliff Activity Center is as
follows:
1. $300.00
Per Day for any person, firm, civic club, group,
organization, or corporation
NOT CHARGING ADMISSION
or any local civic club, charitable group or non-profit
organization WHERE
ADMISSION IS CHARGED.
2. $400.00
Per Day for Commercial Use for any person, firm,
civic club, group, organization or corporation
NOT
COVERED by (1)
Above. Commercial Use is defined as a
desire to lease the facility for business purposes or if
Admission Is Charged. The Parks and Recreation
Director reserves the right to make rental determination if use
of the facility is for Commercial or Non-Commercial.
3. $150.00
Per Day when there is only a meeting with no food or
decorations and if the function benefits The Parks and
Recreation Department or The City of Demopolis.
4. Any other
type of rental must be approved by The Parks and
Recreation Director who will determine the rental fee.
A 100.00 Clean
Up Fee is included in the rental fee. This
deposit will be returned to the renter if the facility is found
to be clean and in good condition after use, and if Parks and
Recreation staff does not have to set up or take down tables and
chairs.
Payments, refunds, and deposits must be made of picked up at
the Parks and Recreation Office located at 957 Sports-Plex Road
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Note:
The facility has tables and chairs that will seat approximately
300 people. The maximum number of people that the facility
will accommodate is
350.
