What is the Kids and Kin
Program?
Kids and Kin is a free program designed to support and assist
people who take care of their relatives' children.
Who should be a participant
of the Kids and Kin Program?
All unlicensed Relative Child Care Providers who need support
and assistance in caring for their relatives' children.
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must provide child care for a grandchild, niece, nephew,
or sibling who is not over 12 years of age
- Cannot be the child's legal guardian or foster parent
- Cannot be a licensed child care provider
